NATIONAL TREE DAY 2026

Sunday 26 July 2026, 9.00am - 11.30am, followed by free morning tea

Celebrate 30 Years of National Tree Day with West Hume Landcare!

Join us on a farm on Howlong-Burrumbuttock Rd to celebrate the 30th anniversary of National Tree Day and help create a healthier, more connected landscape.

By taking part, you will:

🌱 Support Squirrel Gliders by planting a wildlife corridor 🐦 Encourage thriving populations of birds and pollinators 🌾 Improve soil health and provide shade & shelter for stock

🌳 Help create beautiful, resilient farms and landscapes

Morning tea will be provided.

What to bring:

  • Drink bottle

  • Sturdy closed-in shoes

  • Long pants

  • Weather-appropriate clothing

  • Gloves and your favourite planting tool (if you have one)

Some planting equipment will be available on the day. Directions and further event information will be provided after registration.
