Join West Hume Landcare at Jono Schulz’s “Huonlea” woolshed near Jindera for a practical ½-day sheep management field day designed to help producers make better decisions using data, forecasting and practical management tools.

Using Electronic Identification (EID) data to improve sheep management decisions.
Farming Forecast and seasonal forecasting tools to guide feed budgeting, stocking rates and management decisions.
Practical design considerations for effective sheep containment areas.
Feeding management strategies while sheep are in containment.
Producer discussion on preparing for seasonal variability, identifying key decision points and building business resilience.
Plus: Take a tour of Jono’s new sheep containment yards and hear firsthand about their design, operation and what works on-farm.
