Introducing
West Hume Landcare.

Watch our new video to learn about our history, current activities and how you can get involved. It also highlights our close relationship with Wirraminna Environmental Education Centre.

This project is supported by Murray Local Land Services, through funding from the Australian Government’s National Landcare Program.

Ready to protect some habitat?

West Hume Landcare is a proud partner in the Squirrel Glider LAMP project. This project aims to secure and protect viable populations of squirrel gliders in the Murray catchment through community action.

Let’s get together, learn new things and share ideas about looking after our landscapes.

West Hume Landcare coordinates and supports events across the region. The group also utilises the function room and field trial sites located at Wirraminna Environmental Education Centre.

“Landcare puts ideas in your head and gets you thinking about doing things differently.”
